Mentor Doula
I would like to maintain an income within birth work, while reducing my in-person support load. I would like to pass along my knowledge of birth work to someone who is just starting out.

Frequently Asked Questions
We accept doulas that have completed a doula training. We expect our doulas to pursue continuing education, whether that is a certification or additional trainings.
TBC commission depends on how many clients you take on each month: 20% when supporting one client per month, 15% when supporting two clients per month, and 10% when supporting three or more clients per month. Mentor Doulas receive a mentorship bonus, and eligible invoices are processed twice a month - on the 15th and last business day of every month.
Our mentorship program pairs newer doulas with highly experienced Master Doulas (with more than 6 years of experience). Our Mentors provide guidance, support, overflow client referrals, and shadowing opportunities. Mentors are compensated for their time, and mentees receive valuable real-world learning.
Our matching algorithm considers location, insurance coverage, specializations, availability, and client preferences. We give doulas on the team equal opportunity to support the families that they deem the right fit while taking the administrative load off their back.
Yes! Many of our doulas maintain their own private clients alongside TBC clients. We just ask for transparency so that we can sustain the career that we all love so much.
We handle client intake, matching, contract generation, invoicing, Kaiser billing, and payment processing.
